Please note that this Privacy Policy does not apply where Bytefolio acts as a data processor and processes personal data on behalf of commercial customers using our commercial services, for example, if your employer has provisioned a Bytefolio account for you to use at work.

Bytefolio uses AI to provide semantic search and contextual retrieval features. We generate vector embeddings from your content to enable these features. These embeddings are stored securely and used solely to improve your experience within the Service.
BYTEFOLIO WILL NOT USE CONTENT TO TRAIN, OR ALLOW ANY THIRD PARTY TO TRAIN, ANY AI MODELS, UNLESS YOU'VE EXPLICITLY AGREED TO THE USE OF CONTENT FOR TRAINING.
4. Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. When you delete content or your account, we remove it from our active systems within 30 days. Some information may be retained in backups for a limited period for disaster recovery purposes.
We may retain certain information for longer periods as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as fraud prevention and legal compliance.
